Credit Recovery Officer/Tele-Collector

As a Credit Recovery Officer, you are responsible for a number of activities. Credit Recovery Officers are required to resolve past due accounts for an organization. Credit Recovery Officers are responsible for contacting debtors by phone. Credit Recovery Officers have to be skilled at negotiating. Credit Recovery Officers have to abide to BAFIA and Fair Debt Collection s Practices as mandated by Bank Negara Malaysia. This is an act or law that governs the activity of credit recovery. Credit Recovery Officers should be good communicators. Good listening skills are necessary if you want to resolve a debtor's problems. Credit Recovery Officers often recommend places for debtors to get money to pay their bills, such as asking a friend or family member for help. Credit Recovery Officers should be familiar with computers. Using a computer is another resource to help in the field of collections.

Candidate must possess at least a SPM, Diploma.
Experience in Collection or Customer Service will be an advantage.
Ability to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and any other languages will be an added advantage.
Ability to communicate with different level/status of people would be a definite advantage.
Possess positive attitude, pleasant personality and basic computer knowledge.
